Biography - R David Foster
A devoted resourceful enthusiast, David was confirmed Episcopalian at the age of 14, but in the Adult Confirmation Class. This left him wanting. In the course of life, David studied with Jehovah's Witnesses, after a stint at a Baptist church, while unsatisfied as Anglican. A Muslim friend was appreciated, and the Occult Bookstore was at the corner, yet David prioritized and pursued marriage unsuccessfully, as a union of male and female.
David Foster achieved an Honors Diploma from Sheridan College's Art Fundamentals Program before being accepted into their Classical Animation Program in 1993. Years later, he completed a six minute 35mm animated film, with the assistance of the Liaison of Independent Filmmakers of Toronto – LIFT – and the Ontario Arts Council, entitled HYPOTHERMIA / My Kayak Prayer . Since that film's completion in 2008, he has completed six episodes of the series HESUS JOY CHRIST, taking the Gospel of Matthew, chapter by chapter, and animating how it points to marriage, originally by referring to events in his life, but since Matthew's Five's Nine, the series focuses entirely on the impact of each chapter of Matthew's Gospel. He is currently working on the seventh episode, Matthew's Sixth Sense, that, after the original retelling of the Beatitudes as well as the rest of chapter five, continues the story in the sixth chapter, the continuance of the Sermon on the Mount. This is a more thorough production with an accordingly much longer production time line. R David Foster, not wishing to impose more words on anybody, most importantly himself, provides this CARTOON ANIMATION for anyone who wishes clarification through explanations by means of words. Honestly, let me tell personal and sincere stories as true as I can possibly remember, which is pretty true if I bother to remember at all, and pretty verifiable if I'm bothering to remember or else it really means nothing to remember it because nobody will ever believe anything I feel worth remembering . . . whatever!
